Sean McGaughey finds it very awkward to write about himself in the third person so he won't. I was born in Edmonton in Canada's centennial year but moved away when I was six. I have lived in rural and northern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and worked briefly in Invuvik, NWT as a young man. For the past 20 years, I have lived in Simcoe County, Ontario, on the shores of Georgian Bay. I am elementary school teacher who plays music and records podcasts in my spare time. My music is deeply rooted in small town Canada, family, humour and faith. My songs range gentle love songs to duct tape and underwear, and all points in between. I've heard that some men wear their hearts on their sleeves. I prefer to wrap mine up in 3 chords. You can find my music and my songwriting podcast, For the Sake of the Song at http://ductapeguy.net |
